This week you can connect Figma, give the whole workspace a color of your own, use Okou in Chinese, and bring your own API key on the Free plan. A handful of smaller changes make everyday chat a little quicker.
Figma connector
Connect your Figma account and Okou can open your design files and projects. Ask it to pull the copy out of a file, compare a design with what shipped, or catch you up on a project before a review, without exporting anything first.
Find Figma under Connectors, click Connect, and sign in with your Figma account. Okou only sees the files your account can already open.
Color themes
Okou no longer has to look the same for everyone. Open Settings → Preference → Appearance and pick a color theme: Golden hour, Citrus spark, Berry blush, Cotton sky, Blue horizon, Daydream, or Deep lagoon.
The palette carries a subtle tint across the whole interface, including the sidebar, cards, borders, and the chat canvas. Choose Default any time to go back to the original look.
Okou in Simplified and Traditional Chinese
The Okou interface now comes in 简体中文 and 繁體中文, alongside the ten languages it already spoke. Choose one under Settings → Preference → Language. If your browser is already set to Chinese, Okou picks the right script before you change anything.
Okou reads the script, not just the language, so a browser set to Taiwan or Hong Kong Chinese opens in Traditional characters.
Bring your own API key on the Free plan
If you already pay a model provider, you can now use that key on any plan, Free included. Open Settings → Models, choose a model, click Edit model, and switch Provided by to API key. Usage then bills to your provider account instead of your Okou credits.
Free workspaces can also run two tasks at the same time, and Pro workspaces three. Premium built-in models still need Pro.
Video generation is being retired
We're retiring video generation in Okou. If this affects how you use Okou, contact our team at [email protected] and we'll help you work out what comes next.
Smaller updates
- Clickable links in your own messages. A URL you paste into a message now opens with one click, in the chat and in shared threads.
- Unread chats in one keystroke. Press
Mod+Shift+Uto filter your chat list to unread conversations. - Your subscription goes first. If you connected your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription, your runs use it before the workspace's API key for the same model.
- Exports that finish. Large data exports now run in the background and pick up where they left off if something interrupts them.
- Stripe sign-in. The Stripe connector can also connect through Stripe's own sign-in page.
- A welcome thread for new members. Anyone who joins your workspace starts with a short welcome conversation and a few examples to try.
